Ate here a couple of times. Fresh, tasty, ingredients and really well presented. English menus for those with poor Spanish. Lots of vegan options. Really nice experience.
What a hidden gem! This cute little restaurant just off the main boulevard in Puerto Escondido offers vegetarian (and even vegan!) versions of popular Oaxacan cuisine. Paula, the heart and soul of the place, takes her time to talk to each of her guests and makes everyone feel warm and welcome. We came here after an afternoon at the beach and got refreshing drinks, good food, lovely conversation and pet a sweet little kitty as well. Can only recommend this place!!!!
Absolutely the best vegan tacos and vegan sandwich I've had while living in Mexico for almost 3 years. Service is exceptional. Plus, the food is prepared quickly. Beautiful, relaxed and well shaded dining area. Coming back tomorrow for breakfast and dinner. Very reasonably priced. Servers very personal, responsive and accommodating.
Off-the-beaten-track restaurant a few blocks from boul Benito Juarez-watch for the small sign pointing up the hill through a beautiful neighbourhood right to the door. Friendly staff, extensive menu, fresh food, reasonably priced. To create a more authentic atmosphere, It would be great if they could play Mexican or Latin American music instead of the retro, harsh North American variety, or at least turn down the volume. Tourists aren’t seeking what they can hear at home. Accommodation is available, and a swimming pool.
One of my favorite places to get some good food and relax with a Cuba Libre. I try and visit every weekend. I love the egg sandwich, bbpan, hamburgers and salads. They also have incredible salsas - the Habanero Negro is my favorite. Good food, great service and a wonderful group of folks.
We haven’t even gotten our food but so delighted with the service and the ambience of the place. People are all enjoying themselves... Now we got our food...delicious. Wife is a vegetarian and enjoyed them beans so much since it’s rare to find a place with no pork in it. Will be back! Rosalia and her partner were awesome servers.
My wife is a Vegan and I am a meat eater. My wife has had the vegan coconut toco and the vegan sandwich. My wife said they were awesome very flavourful . I had the double Burger (meat) fantastic burger super tasty. Have had is a couple times now. Awesomeness in every bit full same for my wife’s food . She said both these items were super yummy she also has had these multiple times and they were all delicious
What a great surprise! We had been in Puerto Escondido for several days, this was the best restaurant we ate at! Food was wonderful. See my pictures! Prices are great, service was superb! Dessert also was great! Thank you Julie!
